The first day I met Ingrid I knew there was something special about her. When she busted out 20 toe-touches in a row at cheerleading tryouts our freshman year of high school I wondered if she was a real human. Turns out she is, but just better at it. Since then Ingrid has blown us all away with her long list of talents, but one seems to out shine the rest. Her voice!

When we were in the high school production of the Sound of Music together I got to experience her talents first hand. If I hadn't been playing a nun I would have SHED my clothes and got down to her amazing rendition of Edelweiss.
Ingrid now writes and produces her own music. A couple weeks ago she got to record a music video in Turks and Caicos to the title track of her new album Shed. Contrary to what you might think, the song Shed is not about a dog that shed's all over the couch. For Ingrid the song is about "celebration, self-realization and letting go of anything (or anyone) holding you back from being free.”
So self-realize and shed those tight pants, because you are about to get freed by Ingrid Gerdes!
